Who are they for?
Days are aimed at riders of scooters 250cc and below and pre test motorcycle riders.
When and where do they take place?
Days run from 08.45am to 4.30pm on both weekdays and weekends at Ace Cafe (north London) and The Warren (south London). They take place in all weathers apart from ice.
What do they include?
Your day will include a classroom session and an observed ride on urban roads. You'll be given tailored advice on topics like gear selection and making yourself be seen.
How much do they cost?
For riders, the cost is £45 (or £75 for two riders booking together). This includes lunch and a free high-vis tabard. For pillions, the cost is £10 to cover lunch and refreshments.
What do I get?
At the end of the day you'll get written feedback and a pack with offers from companies in the motorcycle community. After filling in your online evaluation form, you can print off your personalised attendance certificate.
What next?
Once you've completed a Rider Skills Day assessment, we encourage you to do some form of further training such as that provided by the IAM, RoSPA or DSA.
