Rider Skills Days

About BikeSafe-London Rider Skills Days

Who are they for?
Days are open to riders of bikes 125cc and above, regardless of experience, and their pillions.

When and where do they take place?
Days run from 08.45am to 4.30pm on both weekdays and weekends at London Gateway Services M1 (north London) and The Warren (south London). They take place in all weathers apart from ice.

What do they include?
Your day will include a classroom session and an observed ride of around 60-70 miles on urban and rural roads. You'll be given tailored feedback on topics like the safest way to corner and making yourself be seen.

How much do they cost?
For riders, the cost is £45 (or £75 for two riders booking together). This includes lunch and a free high-vis tabard. For pillions, the cost is £10 to cover lunch and refreshments.

What do I get?
At the end of the day you'll get written feedback and a pack with offers from companies in the motorcycle community. After filling in your online evaluation form, you can print off your personalised attendance certificate.

What next?
Once you've completed a Rider Skills Day assessment, we encourage you to do some form of further training such as that provided by the IAM, RoSPA or DSA.
